Then came the film.I adapted the novel into a screenplay, raised roughly $240,000, assembled the team, scouted locations, produced the picture, directed it, and stepped in front of the camera to star in it.
Then came the long road to an audience.I pitched networks and distributors until the film found homes with Hallmark and Netflix. Today, Chasing Grace lives on Amazon Prime.
The movie is fiction. The years, risk, persistence, and belief it took to make it real were not.
